Major Exploration Advising Program Current WSU Students

Taking the First Step

Asking questions is a good way to start learning about your own goals and values. If you’re undecided on your major, or would like to discuss options for changing majors, WSU has resources to help.

First, we’ll take some time to learn about you. We want to help you discover your interests, recognize your challenges, and capitalize on your strengths.

Next, we can connect you to campus and community partners to learn more about programs, degrees, or career opportunities.

Are you already assigned to a MEAP advisor?

Everything you need is on Blackboard! Sign in to learn about your options, access the personal inventory worksheet, connect with your advisor, and more.

Having trouble signing in to Blackboard? Contact the CougTech help desk for assistance.

Not assigned to a MEAP advisor?

What you need to do depends on where you are in your educational journey.

As of right now, how many WSU credits have you completed?
(Be sure to include any transfer credits, but do not include courses in progress.)

  • 0–30 credits: The MEAP advisors are ready to help you explore your major!
  • 31 or more credits: The Academic Success and Career Center is the place you’ll find the most helpful.

That’s it!

  • If you want to meet with a MEAP advisor, come to drop-in hours!
  • If you can’t make drop-in hours, please send an email to explore.majors@wsu.edu to connect with us.
